Catheter Management

 At PRN Community Nursing and Care, we provide comprehensive catheter management services to support clients in maintaining their comfort, dignity, and health at home. Our experienced Registered Nurses offer: 

• Indwelling Catheter (IDC) Care and Changes: Regular monitoring, routine changes, and thorough care to ensure optimal function and comfort.
   
• Suprapubic Catheter (SPC) Management and Changes: Professional management of SPCs, including routine changes and site care, to minimise complications and support long-term use.
   
• Blockage Prevention and Early Infection Identification: Proactive strategies to reduce the risk of blockages and infections, including education on signs to watch for and early intervention when issues arise.
   

We work closely with clients, families, and primary care providers to ensure each individual receives safe, evidence-based catheter care tailored to their needs.
